1. Goldfish. I am thankful for goldfish, as in the snack cracker. I am thankful that I no longer have to put all of my energy into eating perfectly and in an identity as the “healthy one” who would never eat dessert. I am thankful that I no longer have anxiety about eating a nutritionally “empty” food like goldfish, and instead can enjoy the snack that smiles back.
2. Sunflowers. Love them. They bring me joy. Think they are the best flower ever. Amen.
3. Clemson, of course. My home, for now. And I never thought it would be. But I love it, and I love orange, for now. I love this picture, too, because I literally did not know any of the people I was posing with, yet they are now some of my closest friends.
