A gift grateful

Today my heart is made heavy by the news of the passing of a family friend. I was reading comments left on his family’s blog this morning, and one stuck out to me. It was about heaven, and how our friend can now have breakfast with Jesus this morning and drive boats and spend the day with our Lord in paradise.  Such a beautiful image of heaven, in my opinion.

So incredibly grateful that hope in eternity is the only hope to have.  It helps keep me centered on living life looking towards the Lord, with the only things on my To-Do list being love the Lord with all my heart, soul, strength and mind, and love my neighbors as myself.  Seems easy enough, although I fall short always.
