A gift heard, held, hoped for

Thankful for the comment I heard from a little old lady as twas crossing the street yesterday:

“I need to get some ginger ale because I am nauseated!” Is it strange that I am blessed by the fact that she used the word nauseated instead of nauseous? I really am becoming and English nerd…getting excited about proper word usage and such.

Thankful for hands held and palms squeezed during prayers before and after Young Life.

Thankful for that I am hopeful for a perfect plan–one that I could never come up with–for my summer.  It feels good to relinquish that control and unclasp my hand, finger by finger, on what I thought I should be doing this summer.
